My Natural Makeup Look

My Natural Makeup Look
Hey Guys it's Darienne so I've kinda been debating on whether to become a beauty guru on youtube with my friend so i'm going to post this and see what you guys think: This is all drugstore makeup if you want a high end brand one comment below :)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

-First to give my skin a flawless look I use Maybelline's BB Cream Skin Perfecter in the Color Medium-Deep.

- Then I use Sephora's Foundation in the Color Medium Beige and apply it all over my face abd blend it in. I hate the caked on look(whoops that is kinda high end well that's the only product)

- For eyeshadow I use the Elf Color Pallette for $5.00 at Traget :) Follow these steps it's kinda confusing...
Bronze/Brown Color on all of your lids

Light Pink in inner corner of the eye and a little bit
on the lid then smear together

Light Tan Directly over the light pink

Brown Color in the crease

Cream on brown bone and a little bit under the eye
to make it look natural

-Curl your eyelashes Then apply mascara I use Revlon Grow Lucious & Maybelline One By One

- Next I love Maybelline's Dream Bouncy Blush so I use a very light pink color and blend it in to my skin to give a pink glowy look

- For lips I use Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in a light pink Color

Anyways I hope you guys liked the tip sorry for the crappy set & tip kinda just ignore it anyways I thought I would give you a tip before I went to bed :)

{{Nailpolish Colors for your Skin Tone}}
Sorry guys i havn't made a tip in awhile but school started so TONS f homework anyways here is my tip :)

FaiR sKin:

-Women with light or fair skin tone appear to be the luckiest since they can apply most colours to their nails. However, it can be overwhelming for some and they forget that fair-skinned women still do differ in shade and undertone. Too pale skin may want to stay away from extremely dark colours as such nail polish colours will look to eye-popping.

-The best shades that flatter fair skin tone are pink in bright or soft shade, purple in light to medium shade, and red.

-For a healthy, rosy look, nail polish in shades of pink is advisable.

- Blue-based nail polish is mostly recommended to fair skinned people.

- The general rule in matching skin tone to nail polish colours is this simple: light-to-light and dark-to-dark. Light skin will look best on light to medium nail polish colour while dark skin will look better on medium to deep dark nail polish color.

MediUm SkiN:

-Being the colour in-between, this skin tone can wear most shades

- Nail arts look stylish on medium skin tones since the different prints and colours blends well with the colour of the skin. Nail art designs that use metallic shades are recommended. Glitter nail polish, on the other hand, adds a tanned look to medium skin tones.

- Vibrant hues such as pink, blue, yellow, or orange will look impressive on a medium skin tone. Bright shades are the perfect nail polish colours for women with medium-neutral skin tone.

-Silver and the metallic version of light blue emphasise the neutral colour of such complexion.

-Women with neutral skin tone may want to avoid nail polish in colours red, dark purple and navy blue.

DarK SkiN:
- Beautiful dark skin tones will be more emphasised with dark nail polish colors. Chocolate brown, red or a nice burgundy and dark green matches the rich colour of women with a dark complexion.

- Gold also looks best on dark complexion. A stylish look for dark-skinned women can be easily pulled off with a gold nail polish.

- However, tanned skin can be accentuated with lighter shades. Chocolate and light brown as well as light blue, pink, and purple may work for tan complexion. And since this is a sun kissed colour, gold should be avoided as this will completely blend into the overall skin colour and it will no longer be visible. The basic principle for tan complexion is choosing colours on the warm side of the colour chart.

- Yellow-based nail polish colours are highly recommended to women with dark complexion.

Abby's Guide to Tumblr!

Abby's Guide to Tumblr!
Tumblr is pretty much the best website ever. If you don't know what it is, or have never made an account, or if you've made an account and couldn't figure it out, here's a quick explanation of what Tumblr is:

Basically, when you sign up for Tumblr you create a blog, and you can post videos, pictures, text, sound files, and reblog things from other people. There are tons of types or blogs you can choose from making, and some popular types are hipster, grunge, humor, fandom, photography, etc. You follow other blogs and they can follow you back, so when you log on you can see and reblog their posts easily from your dashboard, which is where you are when you log in.

Here are some tips from my experience of having a blog:

~You don't necessarily have to have a predetermined theme in mind for your blog, but after a while you should try to stick to a constant theme of things you post. Some popular themes that people have are hipster, boho, summer, funny, grunge, black and white, photography, and fandom. (If you don't know what fandom is, just ask me)

~Speaking of themes, you blog theme is important. Some good themes to use are:
-http://thewicked-eternitythemes.tumblr.com/ (this is where my theme comes from)
Above all, make sure your theme is simple, easy to navigate, and corresponds to your blog theme. If your blog is mainly pictures, use a theme that doesn't show text and shows pictures in kind of a grid pattern. If you post text, captions, etc. then a single column theme is best.
Also, make sure your color scheme isn't blinding. It's just a background for your awesome posts.

~Follow blogs you like. Follow blogs they reblog from that you like. Follow blogs that you like who follow you or reblog your stuff. Try to keep your following count up so your dashboard won't be dead.

~On anonymous messages- if you get anon hate, brush it of. Reply with a sarcastic comment or a funny gif and don't let it hurt you. After all, they're just a loser sitting behind a computer screen who's not brave enough to insult you to your face. On the other hand, never send anon hate. It's just rude.

~Your URL is important. Don't make it really long and full of numbers (ex. abbyluvsyouxoxo3877626.tumblr.com) because you want people to be able to remember you. Also, if you have a fandom blog, your URL should be either a line from a song, a quote from the book, show, or musician, or something clever and funny. I have followed people based on their URLs before.
If you have a hipster/grunge/boho/etc. blog, make your URL something that goes with your theme. You can change it later, so don't stress too much.

~Be active or people will unfollow you. If you're going somewhere, set up a queue to post for you while you're gone.

~Don't get upset if you don't get a ton of followers instantly. They will come eventually.

~Tagging your posts is a good way to get followers. If you tag a post of a puppy with 'puppy' and someone's looking through the puppy tag, they might look at you blog and decide to follow you! But make sure you don't tag things incorrectly, like don't tag a picture of an elephant with 'puppy.' That annoys people a lot.

~Autoplay is when you have music that plays automatically when you click on a blog, a lot of people don't like it so if you use it (which I don't) make sure you can actually stop the music. I've been on blogs without a pause button to their autoplay.

~Make your icon a picture of you or something relating to what you blog.

~Don't try to blog what you think will get you followers, blog what you like and what makes you happy. :D

Some magical blogs to follow (Okay, I was going to post more but I'm really loaded down with homework today so I'm just going to post the only ones that come to mind)

sociallyawkwardatthedisco.tumblr.com (that's me!)

mary-has-issues.tumblr.com (my irl friend Mary)

danisnotonfire.tumblr.com (danisnotonfire, obviously)

amazingphil.tumblr.com

kickthepj.tumblr.com

If you have a blog to suggest people to follow, or you want to promote your blog, tell us in the comments what the URL is! And if you have any additional questions, just post a comment :)

DIY Ribbon Weave Bobbypins
Hi everyone! Having a great Monday? This is a short and super duper easy DIY
-------

What you will need:

- 1/4 in. Ribbon

- Scissors

- Goody Bobby Pins (target, etc)

- Glue

- Your nimble fingers(:

-------

1 - Take your Ribbon and start at the bottom of the Bobby Pin and drop a small, small amount onto the end to keep it in place. Let Dry.

2 - Loop/Twist your ribbon over and under the bobby pins' loop. (Make sure you aren't using regular bobby pins, look at pic) You'll need your other fingers to help pry and keep the Bobby Pin while you do this. Push the rubbon loops down to keep it tight.

3 - When you are at the end, loop the ribbon around the whole Bobby Pin and dab glue to keep it's hold. Add a regular bobby pin to put pressure on it while it dries over night.

4 - Done, done, done! Enjoy in your hair as a lovely and cute accesory(:

-------

I try to make DIYs every one can make or enjoy. Basically that means if I wouldn't take the time to do it or I wouldn't make it, I don't post it. So I hope you enjoy my DIYs, I L<3ve them!!

(UPDATE - I DID THIS AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. I USE MADE THEM WITH GOLD AND SILVER RIBBON AND MATCH THEM WITH Y ACCESORIES OR WHEN MY HAIR IS TOO PLAIN)

I used these(:
